We had a fantastic stay at this place. The location was perfect, close to everything downtown and even on the ferry at Esbjerg. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning. We also appreciated the tea and coffee facilities, as well as the mini-bar. The terrace with garden furniture was a lovely spot to relax. The breakfast provided was outstanding, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

We highly recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Room size, bright bathroom and better food

The room was small but well-organized, with comfy beds and all amenities. The lounge and terrace were GREAT, with free coffee and tea. The breakfast was varied and had vegetable milk. The staff was friendly, and the parking was easy.

The breakfast was rich and of good selection. The quality was very good and it tasted very good. Different coffee variations are available. The food in the restaurant and pub is top notch. In the latter there is a large selection of beers.

On the day of arrival, the room was too warm and could also not be cooled down fast enough to sleep at night without the air conditioner running. But that is surely also due to our arrival after 20:00 o'clock.

The breakfast was very comprehensive, the room offered a bath tub not mentioned before.

The mattresses were too soft.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, as it was close to the harbor and the vibrant center of town. We loved being able to explore the shopping street, which was just a short walk away. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, including a mini-bar and a flat-screen TV. The staff provided excellent service, from the friendly receptionists to the attentive housekeeping team. They even offered tours and ticket assistance, which was a great bonus. Additionally, the hotel had a fantastic bar and restaurant that served delicious food. we would highly recommend this hotel to our family.

Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent and the location was convenient for my business purposes.

The hotel had slow WiFi, which made it difficult for me to get my work done efficiently. the room was quite small, and the bathroom was not up to par with modern amenities.

The bed consisted of two single beds that slid apart. The bathroom was tiny and not very modern.

This was our second time to stay at this hotel. The first time was September 2010. Staff, service, rooms and facilities were all great once again this time around. The on-site Scottish Pub is a handy bonus as the town of Aabanraa is very quite otherwise, even on a Saturday night.

In my Sep 2010 review I raved about how excellent the restaurant with its top class food was - unfortunately this doesn't operate as an evening restaurant anymore and now only serves the breakfast. However the Pub food was fine and plentiful both in choice and meal size, with reasonably good prices. But not in the same class as the restaurant was, obviously.

The staff were just so kind, helpful and smiling - great. The breakfast was good, at the Pub had a great selection og beer and whisky, and very good food. We would like to come again.

Would have been nice with af selections of tea at the breakfast buffet - instead of the brewed Yellow teabag.
